Rear shock help please, CRF50

hi im new to crf50s i dont know much about them i have a stock 2011 crf50 its great fun i love it but i notice the rear shock bottoming out sometimes i am 6ft and i weigh 90kg which shock should i buy that will handle my weight a bit better could you please show me some links

Hey how are ya man im from melbourne i joined up to this forum yesterday i just got my crf50 last saturday i dont know much about bikes i really need a better rear shock that will handle my weight a bit better before i start doing other mods

Pretty limited with rear shocks .. (in australia anyway)

Depends how much you want to spend ?

you could go a fastace for around 80-150 i believe havnt looked in a while , but they arn't very flash ..

next up you could go

They can be around the 250-400 mark and are all a step above the fastace's

Have a look around eBay for a taky shock. Picked mine up for $120 and it holds my 95kg no worries.

or you can just get a heavy duty spring. im running an 80kg one and im 90kg and i do reasonably sized jumps and myn holds up great.

why dont you just buy a new rear shock and forks if you wanna upgrade and sell the old ones to recover some of the money?

Id stay away from anythiong like that
Putting china on jap is big no no !!
Decreases value of bike and loses all coolness haha

yeah those shocks are crap
the only china parts should be the handle grips and plastics imo
