Restoring Z50j questions

My Z50j has a little bit of rust on the compliance plate.. how would i get rid of this?

Also the how much damage would one have to have before the RTA ses no go, dont get me wrong its not completley rusted just a bit.

The Frame also has a fair bit of rust on it is there anyway/product to get rid of this ? h

well if its only surface rust you could just sand it or get it sand blasted and re paint

DO NOT TOUCH THE COMP PLATE JUST LEAVE IT , plus its alloy so it wont rust
