Hi
I've been mucking round latley with my clip position. bike was running fine but now when i do get it started, it absolutely revs its **** off,
then when i turn the choke off it dies.

I"ve tried the idle screw and it does nothing !!
I can screw it all the way in and out and it still revs crazy !!

I've pulled it down cleaned it etc and it still happens.

Could it be the gasket? as it is slightly torn but i wouldnt think it would cause this?
The mixture screw is 2 full 360 degree turns out
maybe somthin electrical ? any ideas ?

thanks in advance

oh its a mikuni carb with the fuel screw underneath

take your air fitter off and look at the slide, its probby stuck, just unscrew the top and spin it untill it drops down and then do back up

yep check what china boy says, failing that it does sound like a wicked vacuum leak...
check all the o rings are in good order on the carb and manifold spacers and check the gaskets...

to verify if its a vacuum leak, start it and wait for it to rev up then hold your hand over the back of the carb (air cleaner off) start with half closing the carb off then close it more till it returns to its normal idle...

another thing to check is your throttle cable... make sure it isnt getting hung up somewhere
