top work BD.
also the removal of the top end, timing setup and magneto is exactly the same for ALL crf style engines..yx/lifan/loncin/ducar/jialing 50cc,70cc,90cc,110cc,125cc,138cc,140cc and 150.

also if you plan on refitting the head then pull the engine apart on TDC..

yea I'd have got it to TDC before pulling it apart ... and cleaned it! poor motor I never seen one so dirty especially mud all over the magneto coils

bulldog
whats that lil allan key bolt there in the the 1st pic??

First picture of ,y last post is the allenkey bolt that holds the gear selector on.

I put it on TDC when I did it. Didn't think to put it in though. Yeah thats nothing. When I pulled the clutch cover off there was all this little black plastic bit??

Cheers boys. I need to re-size photos though. Haha.

all your pics show the cam 180 degree's out BD, thats why i mentioned it..

and yeah now i see the allen key he's talking about... this holds the gear drum assembly in

ok so piston was TDC but yea as sean said the cam was not... need another rotation of the crank next time ;)

Great post ...
especially the explanation in the picture format which has made it pretty much easy for all to understand, it could have been even better if you could have put the explanation along with specific images as it would have made it is to link the images along with the process.
