takegawa 5 speed in a bigbore high hp engine?

hey, does anyone have any knowledge on how the take 5 speed holds up in a bigbore..?
im wanting to use it with my lifan build that is in progress (3mm offset crank 58mm bore bigger than tbolts big valve head)

i should say tourque, because thats what kills gearbox's the lifan will push pretty hard with a 65mm stroke and 59mm bore

Your going to drop a $700+ gear set into a lifan ? I find this hard to believe... TJR have been running 5speeds in Honda nice motors with Taki 2 and 4 valve 148cc superheads without a problem, depends on the end users if they fail or not, the 6speeds are not recommended above 124cc but I know guys that are running them in 140cc + bikes without a issue.

Takegawa TAF 5 Speed Transmission - Lifan Engines

Even at $600, it's a lot of money. Besides, the torque curve will really not require the extra gears.

T-Bag doesn't make a BV head, but Trail Bikes does make a V2 for the mid-block.
I've put 28.5/24 valves and porting in a stocker and made very nice power.
