Yeah Roy, I remember out chats bud, anytime and happy to help mate.

Thanks boys, I now have to wait till Monday to even hear from the fracture clinic, but the shoulder blade is surrounded by some strong muscles and just keep smashing endones till I can get a specialist to check it out, but damn this endones makes you **** bricks lol.

I'll keep all updated on the progress, thanks again lads.

Hi guys, I saw a specialist today and the final verdict is to just let the bone regrow and forget about any surgery due to the thickness of the shoulder blade(4-5mm), so with some good physio and exercises Im hoping I will be good to go and be riding in 3 months. Will def wait for the xrays in a few months to make sure the regrowth is fine and the fractures and breaks have healed over, thankyou so much to all for there support and kind words, so just remember when I sleep at nite I sleep with you all at once. lol

Great news Mick, glad you don't have to go through surgery as you are already starting to heal and to go under the knife now would be a bit of a set back , take it easy mate don't be a hero and when the time comes that you start your physio make sure you stick with it, I was given that advise by many and I did at first but towards the end of the recovery I got slack and preoccupied because I thought I was ok but now I am limited where if I had really kept up with it I would be almost 100% it's a pain to fit the exercises in 2 or 3 times a day especially when you'll just think ah I'm right won't hurt to skip this time before you know it you'll stop stop all together but it might come back to bight just a heads up , I'm gonna stop being negative now lol can't wait to ride with you we came all so close ay :) rest up and look after yourself and enjoy the fact that you'll more than likely get a woman physio just lay on your stomach :)

Good to hear you don't need surgery mick.
I've done a similar thing Afew years ago but with my hand, did a jump and front flipped into the concrete with the bikes peg going into my wrist/thumb area. Dunno why I flipped but wrist had alot of sharpe pain, went bush riding a week later for my birthday and clipped a big tree root and started to hurt more then uswell. 3 weeks of sharpe pain later was with mum at her gp and said my wrist hurts (mum and dad didn't believe me lol) and she said it looks really swollen. She said I think it's broken, went to another place to get X-rays.
Turned out I snapped my skafiod bone in half. Worst bone to break in a wrist apperently. I remember Casey stoner and James Stewart doing it at the same time to, I almost needed it pinned together.
Went all over Melbourne to get this certain brace made, had it for a day or 2. Went to see another doctor and he said no that's a stupid thing to have for that kind of break so he put plaster on it for 8-10 weeks.
Lack of blood to that bone or something makes it slow to heal, think if it didn't heal my thumb wouldn't work or something.
Then I got the cast taken off and had to wait another 8-10 weeks till I could ride again.
Sometimes still has sharpe pain but its all healed.
Was lucky to get out of surgery, when I was 2 I crashed into a gutter on my 3 wheel plastic quad and split my chin open, woke up when they were stitching my chin up, only thing I can remember from been 2 lol
always good to get Afew opinions and get checked out

That's it hazza, never hurts to get another opinion mate. Im really missing the riding right now but don't wanna push myself and rebreak any regrowth on my shoulder. One thing that plays on my mind is were so busy at work and I can't do **** to help, I got this sling for another 6 weeks and am so sick of telling people what happened lol

Make up a cool story about harpooning sharks or something :) Or tell em it's a golf injury - that way no one will ask any more questions as no one cares about golf.... Better yet, just write "Golf injury" on your sling ;)

Might just tell everyone it's domestic abuse lol.

Filthy animals they are, there would be some blood shed lol.

Haha, how I got tagged in that I will never know lol

I see you must of bean hurt bad a few times ;) got the right idea mate made me lol anyhow

Instead of domestic abuse maybe you could say personal abuse, write that on your sling and maybe on the off chance a chicky might feel bad for ya and offer to help out, with the pain relief.

Haha, personal abuse would be a wrist injury bro, not a shoulder Bahahaha

So I have just been keeping the shoulder and arm in the sling and doing some very minor physio stretches, The hardest part is the waiting to heal part and not using the arm, but all in all I feel it is healing okay and am doing what I need to do. Sleeping is a bugger as I can only sleep on my right side and that's getting boring lol. Cant wait to rip a big skid on my paddy or just go for a quick lap, but all in good time.
