The Photography Thread

Sorry mate in English that = what program do you use to edit your photo's. Not what kind of binoculars do you use to perv on the old lady next door! :captain:

Never bothered, just click and shoot and see what comes up. I'm too lazy to edit. At most i'll use a crop tool, but thats it. However if you are after a decent program look at Lightroom, from what i hear at work from a few "pro" photographers, it's the way to go Short of photoshop anyway.

Yep I just D/L that the other day! Haven't installed it yet. I hear good things about it cause it's more focused at photo editing. I'm still struggling with mine, it's hard to try and remember all the numbered settings when your trying to get a quick picture of something!

Damn that looks good! Glad you survived in one piece, that hill looks ridiculous steep. Considering photos never come out as steep as it actually is either!!!

After a dismal attempt at taking photo's under light last night I finally cracked it! The Olympus is going in the bin and I've just ordered it's replacement! After months of looking and researching I was sold on the 7D but I thought I better consult the professionals and started a thread on APF. A couple of indepth comments later I was sold on the newer 70D.

^That'll be a nice little toy Good stuff. Keep an eye out on Kogan and even ebay as they sometimes have some pretty good deals. As for the pic, if i had (or could use) photochop i'd get rid of that pesky pole smack bang in the middle... But oh well, it is what it is

Nice, that is what my brother has. You connect it up to your phone and all, any idea what lenses your getting?

I kind of like the pole there, it's just unfortunate it's smack bang in the middle of the frame! maybe try a few different crops?



Got a fricken awesome deal on it mate! $1489 with a 18-55, 55-200 and 50mm F/1.8lense kit, with 1 year (Australian warranty) I didn't know about the phone connectivity!

I'm now classed as entry level!
