Why does my bike sound like this ?

Just done the valves, no difference in sound, 4 thou and 6 thou. It sounds awful, new motor with about 300ish miles.

What engine are those settings for ? Spoke to mechanic who said the Japanese equivalent use 3 a 4.

I'm getting alot of mixed info, been told the valves would wear out faster if i set to 03. 0.4.

Suit yourself, I've been using .003" and .004" for the last 20+ years on both Honda and Chinese engine builds with no issues.

Dd you happen to give the .003"-.004" settings a try on your engine?

Set them to .004 on both .003 seemed a bit tight for the inlet. Stomp reccomended
.005-.003.

Bike sounds decent now.
