so you would have to cut a few links off then ?
do you want one that is the correct length for your bike ?
you didnt specify how many links you need ?

an angle grinder will fix too many links, just cut it to length.....

It will fit though, the ebay title doesn't mean anything ;)

If the length is too long, just cut off a few links.....

yeh mate just cut out a few links if ya gotta. just make sure u know how many 2 take out before habd ;)

You'll be hard pressed to find a good quality chain at 102/104 links anyways.

I have never bought a chain that happens to be the exact amount of links

yer thanks guys for the input
the old fella just betted me that the chain would not break or stretch to an extent
what do you think you will win?

chains do stretch, that's why they have adjusters at the back axle.
they stretch between the link pins, you can see if a chain is no good by checking how much sideways flex they have too.

i will take a couple of pics and post them up for you.

ok, i found 4 bits of chain.
all are decent DID chains in various conditions, they cost me about $25 each new, with 132 links.

- the first (top) one is off my Yamaha Chappy, was one there when i bought it
- the second is one that came off the Orion, and has had about 30 hours use all up, with various motors.
- the third one down is one off the dune buggy,
it has had approx 8 hours use, replaced it as i fitted a bigger front sprocket
- the fourth (Bottom) chain is an offcut from a longer chain, brand new never used.

the third one down still has another 20 + hours left in it

yeah, definately time for new one then,
running it like that it will start chewing out the sprockets too.

yeah there is not much you can do there,
the output shaft wears, the sprockets wear, and the retainer plates wear.
only parts worth replacing are the sprocket and retainer, you can pick the pair up for around $10-$13 or a touch more off ebay
