Yamaha lb80 happy oil leak

I've got a 75 Chappy that runs great but after it sits injection oil leaks out of the vent pipe at the bottom of the carb. Any ideas??

Must be something wrong with the carb. Might be a good idea to give it a service.

You could also empty the oil tank and just premix the fuel yourself.

Thanks for the response. But why would oil leak from the float bowl vent on the bottom of the carb and not fuel??

Not 100% sure as not massively familiar with that style of carb.

All I do know is not many people let the carb do the mixing. If you got a blockage then your motor get's no oil.

Better off pre mixing so you never have that issue.
