Hey guys was just fitting an oil cooler I got from dhz. I seen on other z160s the copper tube from the bottom end leading to the head stays on and people plumb the cooler lines from the 2x8mm holes. My oil cooler are 10mm banjo bolt holes. Is it safe to take off the copper tubing and plumb the oil cooler with those 10mm holes?

The oil return line from the head need's to be retained.
You might be able to take your oil line's to Enzed or Pirtek and have the 8mm Banjo end's fitted to your hose's,
You will need a couple of 8mm banjo bolt's and copper washer's too.

This kit from DHZ might work, or might be able to be adapted?
HD Radioator Oil Cooler Kit ? Buy Online Australia at DHZ

Braaap have an oil cooler kit that fit's the 8mm threaded Z160HO engines
15- Oil Cooler

That'd the kit I got from dhz. Only has the 10mm banjo. I'll email braaap and dhz and see if they can sell the 8mm lines

I would be surprised if DHZ don't have any barb fitting's to suit their Z160HO they sell?
You could try Atomik?
But from what i have seen, there's not too many people that have the barb's

You can get a banjo barb fitting's too from Enzed etc

What an absolute pain in the ass. Would a brass 8mm be suitable or too soft of a metal?

Brass will be ok, but you'll still have trouble finding them
Most brass fitting's are NPT thread
