I figured out I could not go much further than 57 either just by measuring up the cylinder. Akunar has 57mm pistons with 13mm wrists. But nothing would be left in the current sleeve. And if you went up to a bigger sleeve even then the cylinder would have nothing left. So big bore seems a bad way...
Just curious. Do you know what the dia of the main journal on the Lifan 150 ( 1P56FMJ ) crank is?
I have access to good mill and lathe at the moment and am thinking of turning up a custom crank to turn it in to a super stroker.
I was thinking something insane like out from the 56.5x59 to...
Took the head off my Lifan 150 to have a look since it was having some trouble starting. Also the timing seemed off. Thought it might have over heated since at one point it bled its life blood out but I think it is more a case of it having run to rich. I can see it coked all the way up in to the...
Yeah. I was amazed it kept working. Lucky I was passing bunnings having just turned off the highway when I noticed. Poured in some oil. Jammed in a hardware store bolt. Ran fine on the way home. That was last year. Has been sitting since. Turn it over about once a month.
Yeah. I thought the same. I set it back to where it was before and it turns fine. I did mark where the cam was set before I took it off the first time. I also want to check the state of the valves anyway because at one point ( don't ask ) the sump bolt fell out and it ran with all its oil peeing...
Kill - Eat - Destroy
When I set the stator to TDC I took the plug out and pushed something in to the hole to check the piston was at TDC. Just like I would do for a car.
Also when I said TDC I meant the straight line next to the T on the stator 'T |' which I assume takes in to account some...
Have had my bike to one side for awhile. It is running a Lifan 150 motor. Took off the cam cover to check the timing since it was getting a bit hard to start when I was riding it last. I saw that the cam timing circle was off by one tooth when the stator is on TDC. I figured this would be due to...
Anyone know of a good bikeshop close to Frankston in Melb that sells Lifan parts.
I am getting tired of having to wait days for bits from the internet.
Bike has been off the road for more than a week now ..... :|
After a bit more digging. I managed to get this list together. Bikebandit.com rocks my tiny world.

On the left is the Lifans disk. On the Right is the CT 110 disk. Kinda hard to tell but the teeth are a little different. Doesn't quite fit
I am not sure about the ATC 110 friction disks as I just took the ones out of my CT 110 automatic clutch and they are almost the same size but the teeth pathern on the inside is a little different.
To my understanding TRX 90 / ATC 90 would have the same ones as the CT 110?
If anything I...
