60v is far too much voltage for headlights considering they run off 12v. you could build the regulator yourself for under $10 but it might not last as long as if you buy one. you going to need a regulator though, simply because the voltage will fluctuate as you rev the bike causing the lights to...
just putting it out sorry about it being slightly off topic. but would it be a useful thing to know, if i learn to rewire a stator. im a wizz with electronics and what not and i have my cert 2 in electrotech. so im sure it wouldn't be hard to learn/do. and i could do cheap jobs for blokes on here :)
you rid yours proply then. im just saying that in the yx140 gearbox which id assume is the the same as the 150. the part that wears out out the quickest is the arms that hole the gears. im not sure if this is a manufacturers fault or not, do you have any idea ? or is its just poor build quality ?
