go the Husky 4 fitty, its time for a change. Plus the Huskys look so damn sexy :) Dont get me wrong the WR's are great bikes but every John Dick and Harry has one. so thats why Id go the husky :)

you would have to stretch you budget to $4,500 - $6000 to get a road reg second hand wr450f.. Postie sounds good, or maybe an old CBR?

Very nice, What year model is that? I hear some of the earlier model ones rust pretty quick but if its a later model you should be fine. And yes I am jealous ..

on tight single trail id rather a 250 four stroke over both..

sounds like same problem i had with mine, i rode it for a bit end then it stopped and looked like fuel was coming out of the carby, further inspection showed that my exhaust burned through the fuel line, and when the fuel line heated up it melted sort of onto the exhaust and it didnt Pour Fuel...

I think i may have posted my "mini" before but i picked up my new bike today and thought Id share them both again.. My new 2006 CRF250R with Dual Pro circuit exhausts and header, Vortex ignition, and other goodies :D And my 150 Elstar..

If you live in Sydney maybe an Elstar 150? I have one, 17" front 14" back i find the suspension soft at the track but on trails its ok, 150cc (Branded elstar but its probs made by somebody else), Spare parts and headquarters for Elstar is at Milperra so its not too far to go for parts, spares...

Picked it up yesterday, Elstar 150, I added pro taper bars and grips.. It goes pretty hard. Enjoy

Yeah, from the people ive been talking to. Apart from the obvious Thumpstar, Motovert etc, the PitPro is pretty good, so i think ill end up with a Pitpro 140 or 150, depending on the funds i can come up with.
