    loose chain

The Chinese chains are terrible.. they stretch and stretch and stretch... then break... Spend the $30 on a D.I.D chain (or similar decent quality chain) ... if you don't it'll end up costing more replaceing your sidecover and magneto pickup ect....

    Taking off in second

I did some calcs a while back for 14/37 sprockets, with a Ducar engine and 12" rear wheel ... http://www.miniriders.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=45629#post45629

    loose chain

A standard DID brand 420 chain should cost about $30...

    loose chain

When you adjust the chain adjuster bolts, adjust them evenly so the chain and wheel stay straight.... If you adjust 1 side more than the other the chain wont feed onto the sprockets straight, and will cause heaps of wear...

    Fuel valve and choke lever

Assuming your fuel tap has a reserve.... Off is with the little lever horizontal... On is with the lever bit down.. Reserve is with the level bit up... Well worth turning it off when your not using the bike... not good having fuel everywhere if/when ya spring a leak...

Propper motorcycle tiedown straps are well worth buying... they're quick and do a great job... as said above it's still worth having a couple of ropes for added safety.. Most motorcycle tiedowns look something like this: A good set will cost upto about $50... but will last for ever if...

Just bought bike, makes a pff noise

have you unblocked the crankcase breather hose? (it hangs down the back of the gearbox) The hose is usually crimped off to stop oil leaking during shipping... if you don't unblock it you'll blow oil seals out...

    Seat repad-recover

I've got a couple of posties, they're a good workhorse... they have baffles all down the length of the muffler, the restrictor in the end, as well as a restrictor on the air inlet to the aircleaner, .... it'd be nice to get the pitbike silent like that but the loss of power would be huge....

    Seat repad-recover

    Much quieter than standard :)

    Seat repad-recover

It's a baffle/restrictor made from brass fittings to quieten the bike down a bit... I'll eventually turn one out of alloy... I made it from dimensions "RD_RACING" from the Pocket Bike forum mentioned: "inner side starting at 30mm and tapper down 35 degrees to meet the 20mm outer noise level...

    little tip

wd40 is a bit thin IMO, most runs straight through and dooesn't stay in there to lubricate... I prefer a thin machine oil like 3in1 oil or airtool/nailgun oil ...
