Is this an easy process cleaning the carb...? Or is there an additive i can add to my fuel which may clean the carb and any other stale fuel in the system...
I started my bike for the first time in about 2 months, it took about 10 kicks but then idled pretty well...
Idle for about 30secs then konked out....
Started it again and it did the same thing...
If i hold the throttle on 1/8 turn it doesnt konk out.... the idle speed is fine but it...
nah the choke it off...... :D
not sure what else it could be i will clean the carb but wondering if there is something simple i can play with maybe fuel/air ratio
I have ridden my bike for about 2 months
the other day i went to start it and after alot of kicks i got the thing going.... had to hold the revs on otherwise it keep conking out....
I went for a ride around the yard for about 5mins and then came to a stop it idles for about 10 seconds...
there are about 20 cars there every weekend with motorbike trailers, you can see people riding from the road its not exactly a secret location thats why i was interested to find out what the go was...!!!
yeah i dont think it would be legal but obviously heaps of people go there so cops must not care...? if anyone can shed some light on this topic it would be great
I drove alone heathcote rd the other day and say about 20 cars with trailers and heaps of motos riding in the bush there, was wondering if its legal...?
Or if the cops go there much...?
thanks for the quick response, ill double check the valve clearances tomo....
im suspecting its broken teeth on the kickstart gear like in the video, no way i can fix it as i have no tools and no mechanical skills :(
Will it damage my bike if i dont get it fixed and just keep kicking it...
Hey guys need some help,
I went on a holiday last week and came back to my girlfriends house were i leave my bike to find a few problems with it, obviously someone from her family etc have ridden it without asking and stuffed it up...
I noticed when i went to start it, it took alot longer...
i realise this and thats why i asked but as im just cruising around my girlfriends property at the moment and doing nothing to rough (jumps, bush etc) just wondering if there is any real danger in taking it offf....
I have noticed other pit bikes and they dont have a chain guard....
I was wondering how necessary a chain guard is, on my pit pro i have a red anodized chain guard and personally i think it looks rubbish so want to take it off...
How important is a chain guard and would i be able to take it off without experiencing any problems (chain falling off etc)....?
sounds alright are you sure everthing will fit properly...? another thing with my fuel cap, the inside is slightly threaded hard to explain ill try and get some pics, is your fuel cap in good condition any pics...? how will we organise the trade...?
