your compression problem could be rings, valves or valve clearences how long is the motor? if its done a lot of hours the valves could be worn and have no valve clearence. then again if its a old motor it probley needs rings anyway and soulds like the carby float level is outa wack or one...

its most likely to much oil and its glazed the bore, new set of rings and a hone and it will be like new again or you could just put a 165 kit on it

hey how much did it cost to get the piston coated? and how thick is the teflon coating? great project if you go on planetminis.com theres a guy on there making a few custom 4v heads sohc and dohc, might be a good idea to talk to him
