The vm is a round slide, the oko carbs are a keihin pwk copy and they`re a "d" slide. A true flatslide has a very thin slide with no profile, I`ve never seen one on a dirt bike. The wider the slide, the more turbulance over the venturi = higher air speed at low rpm but less total available air...

I use a mikuni vm26 on a yx140. A very good carb at a sensible price.

I`d find out what the next biggest bearing is (eg.22mm) and ream your shock to suit. I neglected to mention that you should also replace the mounting bolts with high tensile items as the standard ones will chop out and create slap and that`s what will root your mounts(frame, swingarm and shock)...
