Thanks for reply CJ, I have since found out through Perth street bikes forum that it is infact a Lifan 120 , but you stated that the valves from the zonker has YF cast in, did you write in the wrong sequence when you refered to the letter castings ? as this motor has YF and has 2 bolt rocker...

MadAss125 Motor I am pretty sure that its the Lifan 120 lecky start, IP52FMI, 52.4x55.5, 14mm Piston pin, 27in x 23ex valves. Could this be a Zongshen???, any one shed some light please??

Hi, thats the one way lock,or clutch(nothing like a multi plate clutch) the starter spins and those springs push a little rod out on an angle forcing the large roller type pin onto the crank surface causing it to lock when the engine starts it unlocks, it is very simple to put back together. lay...

Hi all, I have done the kick start gear in the Lifan150 I put in my MadAss125, The original engine,( I think) is a Lifan120, I was told it was a Jialing,but after much investgation it looks more like a Lifan120, 52.4 bore x 55.5 stroke and has a 14mm piston pin, the head has 27in x 23ex valves...
