the engine swop went well, , ,just one problem.......the engine starts first kick and sounds great. . . does great in 1st and 2nd gear, but when i kick it into 3rd it doesnt catch and makes a weird sort of grindin type noise. . . . . . . .any help???

im gonna try puttin my friends 125 thump engine on my china made loncin pit bike the mounting wholes look like they'll all line up nice but can i cut the wires that go in the top of where the clutch is on the thump engine snd connect it to my bikes wiring as long as the wires all match up

remember we're talkin about my friends bike, , , the plug sparked on my bike therefore i know its a wiring problem on my friends bike

i put the spark plug on my bike coil and it sparked, so i know its a wiring problem, ill try gettin some photos soon

so can i just ground the blck wire goin to the original electric star

so what do i have to do. .

my friend has a thump 125. . just bought it used and the previous owner took the battery out and just used kick start im guessing. . but the spark plug doesnt get spark. . . do i have to do somethin to the wires to get spark once you take the electric start off

when letting off the gas at high rpms my bike crackles a bit, , , does this mean my carb is running to lean?? too rich??....help appriciated

so turns out nooone around hear sells jets that will fit these cheap ass japanese carbs, , went ahead and bought a new one from ebay . should be hear bout a week.. hope it works

damn. ye i just purchased it bout two weeks ago and no matter what i did couldnt get it runnin better. . .. . so where do i go to purcase this jet and how do i make sure to get the right one???
