    steer clear of the link is my advise... i have 1 here which under lots of hard acceleration they twist the frame in a big BIG way. as for the enginge mine has done well, just be sure to keep ur air filter properly oiled, or they suck in the dust and do the rings.....

    i have used all new plugs from auto barn where u could..... and where that wasnt possible i had them order in the female inserts to finnish the job. i took out the remote but other than that its all working... i cheated and coppied off a elec start atomic and just made everything to the required...

    have you tried to hotwire to the starter to get it to turn over to see if you have both spark and compression??

    its an 83 xl 250 running the zongshen 250 engine but the conversion works on both the xr and xl's ..... mine is the model where they swang over from the duel shock to the mono shock but i have a twin shock in the shed im halfway thru doing the same conversion

    thanks cactus it is dhz who im looking at sourcing my bits thru . so it looks like im going the way of lifan..... im also big boring a few 125' a 110 auto if its possible (will all depend on gudgeon pin size there) and doin a couple of 140s to 150's using there upgrade kits.... any thoughts...

    hi guys and gals im in the market to upgrade my old pro x 125 to a 150, but im unsure which engine to go with, Can any one tell me which of these will be preferable ; the gpx oil cooled 150 from dhz, the lifan oil cooled 150 from kdf sport, or the dirtmax avenger....... my old pro x has a 17"...

    i didnt check the stroke due to the gudgeon pin sizes being different and me getting the shits on lol ..... but im just stupid/stuboun enuff to get it to work eventually. i will keep you posted.... i also want to try do similar to a 110 quad if i can nut it out lol.... maybe i have to much time...

    nope doesnt work gudgeon pins are a different diameter so i will have to try playing with the bottom end i will keep you posted
