Thanks, I'll check the earth while I'm replacing the coil, but we used new NGK spark plug, but we didn't replace the lead. I'll replace the lead with a higher quality one and check all the electricals as well. Thanks heaps for info:)

it is a Loncin but it's not the water cooled engine..... I was thinking of changing the carbi any way but when we pulled it a part it had a 105 sprayer in it, so it was setup reasonably well, just don't like where the fuel mixture is situated.
