Hi sorry for the late reply been soooo busy!! anyways im glad to say that the problem is now sorted... the new CDI unit was the culprit!! not sure how as they are sealed units but i fitted it then took the bike out & it was bang on the button,everything is how it should be... 140 animal!!! :) :) :)

Hi sorry for the late reply! So the new carb is running spot on I think, rev is smooth when bike is idling,blip to wide open is fine but soon as I set off in 1st gear & so on as turning the throttle is loses power around 1/4 then comes back at about 1/2 throttle and even feels like it's hitting...

Thanks for the advice guys...i did have a tinker but no real difference!On a positive note the people I bought the bike from sent me another new molkt carb which I have installed with a new heat spacer & gasket! So here I think lies the problem. The bike now starts within a few kicks everytime...
