Get the CR80, you will become a better rider quicker. Replacing a top end on a 2 stroke costs next to nothing and if you have half a clue you can do it yourself. When the motor lets go on your pitbike 4 strokes are even more expensive to rebuild. The Honda also has a much better build quality.

You obviously haven't ridden one of these Chinese bikes then, it can be very annoying at times to grab nuetrel.

Nevermind the wear and tear on the bike, it's plain stupidity and extremely dangerous. I've seen some pretty bad crashes where people were doubling their mate.

Genuine Thumpstars are far from the best anyway. Plenty of better brands out there and Mojo Motorcycles is one of them. The MotoVert Pro 125cc is a neat bit of gear.

Talk it up. These people obviously can't ride for shit. A CR80 & a CRF150 will both kill you no matter what Chinese bike you're on. These bikes have motors with more power and a chassis/suspension combo much better than a Chinese pitbike. Dreams are cheap.

I had a MSO and trust me shit breaks, if it doesn't you ride like a skirt. Stay on it.

Sorry bob I may have come across a little harsh, but definately one of the best for the $1000 mark. If you have $1000 to spend maybe spend the extra $100-200 and get the all alloy version. Linda & Ken @ MSO are fantastic, I paid for some parts yesterday and already they're getting couriered...
