If you are going to test it yourself, you may as well do it a bit more accurately. while the head is off put a small amount of plasticine on the piston where the valves may contact, so you can see exactly how much clearance there is......don't do anything stupid like I did and use bluetack or...

^^^^^^^^^^Ignore that post.....I just realized it was a dummy compression adjuster not air valves. :confused: :o "AS-03 have chrome steel construction on the legs and are only 35mm. They also have a dummy compression adjuster that does nada. Still a reasonable fork just have to mod them...

Sound as though I should of used something a little bit stronger as my shim, So what size would you recommend for this Mack???

Any good port in a storm I would just like to say that this is a great thread and it has inspired me to have a crack and port both my 140cc lifan and 119cc jialing (or jialing copy) heads. the 140 head is still sitting om the bench half finished, but I have finaly got my 119cc head back from...

Hahaha No worries, I forgot to mention you should probably try to lube up, where the tube slides in the clamps as well (but not where it clamps onto the bars). Also while you are at it you may as well spray some down the throttle cable as well... The better lubed it all is the smoother it...

Yes if you park your bike in the shed... they wont wear anymore. Just ride them till they are bald and then get some more. Some hard surfaces will wear the crap out of nobies so mabey find some mud or grass and ride there instead. Also If the turbo kit you are talking is on of those...

Another good thing about a large front sprocket is it will also lift the chain off the swing arm and chain guide, which can rob a bit of power. I would try going up to a 17 on the front first and if it is still not enough for you, mabey think about a 37 rear sprocket. That is what I run on...
