I'll call BS on that!!! I had a 2001 yz250f and only put one top end in it during the 3 years I had it and rode 2-3 times a week! and who cares what bike the guy rides... I would like to know some info on that motor. This is the first I've heard of it.

There is no fuse inside the cdi box. What brand are you using? I havent heard of any problems with ANY cdi's. Make sure the ground is good in the wiring harness... a bad ground could possibly cuase a voltage spike that would fry some of the curcuitry.

those electric turbo things are a joke! Total BS. But if you are really hard up about getting it then let us know what you come up with.

stock carbs are really finiky with any debris. A single piece os sand will make the bike not even run. I would reccomend cleaning the carb and pulling the fuel line off the tank and blow it out with air. and try not to let any dirt get in the tank.

Did you mean thick metal? as in aluminium? And welding cast aluminium doesnt work good. The metal that cases aremade of is pot metal, theres all kinds of different metals in that alloy. You can get it welded for a little extra security but a cradle mount adapter or frame is the only way to fix it.

Vibration doesnt do shiot to the mounts. Look at where the foot pegs are bolted. You have a 150+ pound guy Jumping on the pegs which are held to the engine with 4 bolts and the engine is held to the frame by two bolts. A 1/4" thick piece of aluminum isnt going to hold 250+ pounds repeatedy. It...
