Yeah, thanks for that sean01. The shim gasket is around 0.030 thou thick and the original one is about 0.080 thou thick. Anyone have any ideas what the head nut tension is?

I have been recomended to use Hylomar so I will give that a shot.

Thanks for your quick reply. I will have to check for valve clearance if I use this gasket as it is pretty thin and it will have to increase comp ratio. Will I need to add any sealant for the oil gallaries? Am I better off just getting the right head gasket?

Tip, dont have the throttle open when you kick it as it will kick back real hard.

My new Pitster pro exhaust is the same. I plan on cleaning it up as it can only make the exhaust flow better. I did the same with the exhaust on a 110cc quad I restored for my kids and now it is a little rocket with the exhaust opened up.

I just fitted this exact throttle. Is a lot better than the original one I had on my Nitrous.

It's that bloody wet in the Wombat state forest I will have no issues with any sparks doing any harm. I will put it back in and see if there is any difference in note.

I only had mine running for a short period last night but I don't think it is that much louder with the center removed but it seems to take the poping sound out of the note. If you try it, you will understand what I mean by poping sound.

Yeah, you can put the little tip back in but the note was not as good and the volume is close to the same with it in or out. I did notice there was a built up of weld on the inside of pipe near where it bolts into head so after the ride planned for the weekend, I will pull it off and grind it out.

Well I got my new pipe/muffler and very happy with look and sound now that I have modified it. I have removed the center of the tip and spark arrester and she has a much better note now. Will this effect performance on engine now with very little back pressure? This is how the muffler...

Nice beast you have there THE_GDFP. Looks like the tip on the muffler is slighly different to the PP one. Cam is for the YX 140, not the "138". Where is the best place to get a TB300?

Thanks for info guys. It was not the case when I ordered it :( I am down $40. :(Not much I can do about that now. Z40 cam might be the next mod. Good idea to make the most of this exhaust or is there a better cam out there?

Well I pulled shock out and it was 280mm long. I have placed an order with DHZ for the below shock. Fastace Rear Shock Model BS-35AR/BFA01AR-280L 800LBS Spring - Fastace MiniFighter, yes the 1000lbs was to stiff so hoping that this Fastace shock makes my bike nicer to ride.
