catch can

can someone tell me what a catch can does? besides catching oil :?: does it have the same princilble as high powered cars :?:

ok, catrch cans are generally only used, and become effective on turbo'd engines.
all it would be good for with when you stack ur oil wont piss erverywhere.. then you gotta pick the bike up n giv it a minute to all go back to the sump...
I'm thinkin bout getin one only coz it looks cool, my dipstick is rooted, and i have no breather tube

that ebay seller only sells stuff that's for looks anyway so that might be a give away

would be a pain in the ass checking the oil u could run a hose from the oil breather to the dipstick hole would save u some money and do the same job lol.... i personally wouldnt buy it i wonder if it has a syphon action when used on a bike in the bush :shock:

my bike had one on it when i bought it and i got no idea what the point of it is but it does give it that little extra bling bling
