A fire came within 25m of my house last January and was 5m from one of my shed which had the business truck and my freshly restored Glastron (sigh of relief), anyway this made me want to set up something to defend my house a little better from those little pricks who like fire! :boxe:
I wanna see what everybody else's set ups etc. Here's my'n.

The result was a 200lt water tank in the back of the quad bike trailer and a 2hp pump attached and a collapsible hose. To make it a fast response system I have hung the water tank from the roof of my shed (empty) with a winch. It hangs above the trailer so when the time comes I'll drop it down and fill it with a 2inche diameter hose connected to a electric pump and a 5hp petrol pump in case of a power out. I estimate that it took under 30 seconds to fill.
My neibour has a very similar set up only he has put it in the back of his suzuki sierra with a 6.5hp pump and he keeps it full over summer. I reckon I could have had that fire out if I had this set up at the time, I almost saw the prick lit the fire actually.
