Anyone on here a keen fisherman (or woman hehe) like me? Ive got a 2011 4.7 quintrex topender. Love my fishing. Going to Proserpine river next days off with the old man to see if I can slay some big barra! if anyone has any fishing pics throw them up, would love to see them!

Barra fishing in NT was awesome fun. Fishing 5 meters away from 6 meter salty's was intense!! haha

yeah im hearing ya. prossie river is crawling with them too. Old man wants me to drag net for bait with him... pfft!

I like fishing where i go riding in QLD on Pummistone Rd just off the donnybrook/ Toorbul exit there's a little Fresh water Creek there and also there's a river also I would like to go riding and fishing there

I'm up on the sunny coast and haven't done much fresh water fishing ill have to give it a go one day, my brother has been onto me about soft plastics ( I have always been mostly bait fishing) so I gave it a go in mooloolaba where the trawlers come in and I ended up out fishing him lol he wasn't happy, this was the bream pod the day View attachment 8480

nice catch mate I havent done a lot of fresh water fishing to but iv'e had no luck with lures or soft plastics

i caught this Flathead at the local boat ramp was about 46cm if I can remember

I also caught the big bream at the same place with a hand line and some bait i found on the boat ramp threw it in and took it straight away

this is the fresh water place where i go riding

Nice catches mate, I once found half a pack of pillies and they were still half frozen and I caught a 58cm flathead and had no interest in the squid I was originally using, ill see if I can find the pic of the flathead

we always see this big mullet but never catch it
