well, wanted to pull those little covers on the shocks of, got left hand side off with minimal marking.. but right side wont come off... what should i do?

dont want to use rattle gun as im scared it may reck the top

as in the fork leg covers? The plastic gaurds with the little allen key bolts?

Ide leave em dude, if you cop a few rocks and get some dents on the leg you can say goodbye to your fork seals

Oh, use ya muscles. Mayb giv it a tap on the top with a hammer to break the thread locker on there.

they come with out of thread locker on em. take your time and make sure you dont round the head.

Might be a good idea to get a butane burner from bunnings. You can get them for around $20. Use it to apply some heat to the top of the fork leg around the cap. This heats up the loctite used and should help you to remove the cap more easily. Still be careful and make sure your socket or spanner fits well.
