Help in Reading Spark Plug

Can any of you cleaver buggers tell me how to read a spark plug to see if my bike is running rich or lean? and how to adjust the problem, ive got a kei hin carb (standard on the chinese bike) also pictures will be dam helpful to. thanks guys

if its black to rich if its gray to lean should be brown move your e clip up to make it lean or down to make it rich

whats wrong colour is your spark when you pull it out of the head?

There is no point in just taking out your spark plug and reading it. You need to do it in a controlled manner.

You need to kill the engine with the throttle wide open and with the engine under a moderate load (take a spark plug socket in your pocket) after about 10 seconds of flat chat wide open throttle. If it gives a bad reading on this run you need to change your main jet.

You need to do the exact same thing at half throttle and this reading is corrected by the Eclip.
