umm i have never looked into the atomic nitrous's but here there the best u'll get for that price

For under a grand you cant beat the nitrous.

well if you end up getting an atomik nitrous it defiantly will be a project bike.. lol.. Nah they are not a bad bike from what I have heard, go the 160, pick them up fairly cheap and then some good forks, and rear shock, tapers and you are laughing..

I have my new bike (bse 140) a quick once over last nite and the only bolt/nut that needed a bit of a tighten up was the fuel tank mount! I have seen better welds but for 800 I'm quite pleased

yea nitrous can't be beaten with a $700 budget
If you want a progect you can build up over time it's perfect but you will be spending a LOT of money to get it up to scratch...
there's allot more needed than just suspension and bars for it be good but just as a muck around bike and no extreme jumpin it's good enough

but you really should just save the $2000 and get a good bike to begin with.... unless you replace pretty much every stock part on the nitrous it will never be as good as the "real" bikes
