right i'm just lost i got myself a japanese mini bike and got new ignition coil and spark plug when i got it the old owner said its not working and he thinks its the carb.

what i've done so far is cleaned the air filter and carb. reed value was stuck, unstuck it. i've tryed it petrol go's in, spark plug works but dont start still and i'm lost for ideas

thanks guys

Hard to diagnose without details of what bike/engine you have. 2 strokes are pretty simple, just need fuel, compression and spark. For starters make sure you have another plug, just because it sparks when it's out of the engine doesn't mean it will under compression. Is the plug getting wet, if you pull it out and it's bone dry after a quite a few kicks the fuel isn't getting through. Carb or reed valve not opening.Pull out the plug and spray in a little aerostart, put the plug back in and see if it'll fire. If you do this and it fires but doesn't want to run and seems to backfire it could have sheared off the woodruff key and thrown the timing out.

i got some pics tryed kicking it a few time and plug is wet

the ownly markings i've founfd is on the engine (LY1E40F-6A AND 040953844)
dont no if that'll help

i've been using a fuel rich mix with choke closed
