Question About Shifting

Whats up guys, I just bought a Yamaha TT-R50 today and had a quick question. I was letting my little sister drive it, anyway she didnt know you had to shift so she went down the street with the throttle all the way back in first gear. Do you think I should be worried about it at all cuz I was freaking out when I saw her do this. Any help is appreciated.
