Is a race CDI on a stock motor going to give any improvement ? or is it a waste of dough?

it's just going to remove the stock rev limiter, and change the power curve of how the power is delivered. up to you weather you want one, bit of a waste if no engine work has been done.

I have seen first hand in the cheaper ebay bikes and also the MSO models and also higher motovert types all thes bikes were rock stock once fitted with a kitaco CDI it made a clear difference nothing so serious as for someone to say holy shit, just a clear improvement on rpm pickup.

You do not need engine work to accommodate a CDI, grab one a good brand perferably you can normally get a kitaco CDI for approx 90 bucks and import loom for 20 bucks

Cheers

Finally Someone to Confirm this.

Also I Have Heard the Takegawa is Proved to work.

The ADA One so Far Is Best I have Heard about with an Actual Power curve in the CDI Unit. Not Only a Rev "Unlimiter"

ADA, hey who sells these CDI's
Havnt heard of them love to check em out

Cheers
