Rear Shocks Assistance!

hi guys,
i've noticed that on my bike (gen. thump 110). The shocks have become more hard and when you sit on it they arnt as soft as they used to be. Ive got no idea with shocks so can anyone tell me how to loosen em. I know that its got an air valve thingy on it exactly like the one on a tyre. i take it thats where you can adjust it. its just how.
Any help would be great. Thanks

yer thumpy you can let a little air out or pump it up i wouldnt put more then a couple of pumps in tho but on a gen thumpstar the valve is all ready showing so put one then sit on it and bounce and put more or less in till it feels right
