spark problem please help

hi every one im new to this site and new to motorbike repair.
i have a problem with my spark the bike sometimes sparks. but most of the time doesnt.
My wiring between my ignition coil the earth and the conection that conects the coil to the CDI is preety (home made) but how well do they need to be connected. And a new Ignition coil has been bought.
but i guees my main question is what would be the cause of it not sparking very often or only sometimes??

id say loose earth ot loose something
wire broken in sheeth would have to be a loose something tho to only work sometimes

same issue with my kv100! but i figure its stator problems!

another question i have is whether it would be CDI unit problem like do they sometimes work or if a CDI is broken will it never spark at all??

well my mate had the same problem and it was the cdi so give it a go

ill buy a new CDI unit tommorow.
no one thinks it might be a magneto problem cause i dont really no how it all works.

Is the proper model for 125 ducars and 140 lifans the NGK c7hsa???
I'm just about to order 2 from motorcyclemart.com.au, one for my foxico (found out it has a shit ass spark plug that's black) and it may be why it ain't running and one spare.
