Washing your bike?

Do you use a hose to wash your bike down? I'm worried about wetting the electrics, i have a bung for the exhaust.

pressure washer! i have never had a problem with the the electrics

yeah, will be fine, just give them a coating of silicone spray afterwords. I also use degreaser, this just seems to lift the clumps of dirt and mud.

when i wash my bike i put a bag over the airfilter and plug the muffler and it starts fine

I dont bother about covering the pipe and electronics etc when washing. I do start it up when i've finished though, to make sure everything is as it should. and Degreaser is the shit! I love it lol! make sure you spary the degreaser first before the area is wet.
