Zongschen 140 wasted spark?

I have a Zongschen 140 and am thinking of fitting an inductive tachometer. What I need to know is if the spark plug fires every second revolution of the crankshaft as is normal on a four stroke or if it actually fires every revolution of the crankshaft meaning there is a wasted spark. Any advice will be greatly appreciated
