hi all , i got it from the glen innes bike for $600 . the shop owner said it been sitting in the back shed for 15 years ,, and that it did go when he stored it a way. he was having a clear out sale for the first time ,, lucky 4 me :) ,,, got it home ,cleaned out the tank and put in some oil ...

hi all ,, well i pulled my motor apart today 2 have a look see inside ,, got 2 the big end bearing and it had a little left 2 right play in it , but no up and down play in it ,, is side play ok or do i need a new big end ,,, :confused: thx 4 all the help

ok thx ,, in the end i put in 250 ml ,, was not hard enought ,, 50 ml more and were nice ,,, just have 2 test it on a jump :rolleyes: frok oil in the end was a 150 ml ,,, and the springs were in wrong ,, pulled then apart and put them the right way ,,, all good now :)

:) ,, jap/china all bikes are made the same in the eyes of GOD lol ,, i just got a old yz 80 F 1979 ,, been siting in a shed out the back of glen innes bike shop for 15 years,, picked it up for 600 ,, only right side cover was missing ,, the owner of the shop , said it did go ,,15 years a go...

hi ,, i just like 2 know >>>> how do i know if i am puting the cam cog on right ,, can it just go on any way or does it have line up to the cam timing marks ,,,,and if the cam chain had moved in the motor does it matter were it goes back on the bottom cog in the motor ???? thx 4 your time :)

thats all good ,, but how do you get it back on ,, does the cam chain just go back on ,,or is there a special way to do it ???
