MINI-MOTARD RULES AND REGS, for MA

When the rules were written, there were a number of concerned people that omitting that rule would allow certain bikes to fall within the rules that would make most china bikes and even the miniGP obsolete if you want to be competing at the front, and more than doubling the cost. However, all...

    Melbourne minimotarders facebook group

The full size supermoto guys go to Stoney creek on a monthly basis. So you might be able to jump on the track with them. Most of the guys there race and are super fast and also super friendly. There is a small group of guys from around Australia that meet over the phone each month to dis cuss...

    mini motard distress

Don't give up and put dirt tyres back on. There are a group of us preparing to hit the road track at Broadford for the last round of the Hartwell club championship on mini motards. Just finalising the details with the Steward and CoC. There will be some good competition and a chance to wind your...

    sprocket help

Have a go with this spreadsheet. May help with selection and if you play with the numbers if will give you an idea what changing sprokets does for speed. Higher speeds take longer to achieve.

Step up to 250 production from minimotards

Hows the RGV going ringo? Shredded any more rear tyres? We are going to Broadford of Feb 3rd for the Preston race school, so I'll get some footage of a few laps around there and helmet cam too for those that asked.

    Track Your PitBikes TOP Speed!

I've attached a gps screen shot, the gearing setup on the bike and a gearing calc spreadsheet. The spreadsheet will help you to determine your possible top speed for a given engine and tyre size. Will help with choosing sprockets and fast track the best combination for your 1/4 mile runs. The...

Step up to 250 production from minimotards

The GT250 pushes 26hp so not much more than a worked pitbike, only difference is, has a bit more torque and weighs about 145kgs with all I can legally strip off it. It is soo much fun riding around the track and going around guys on much bigger bikes.. get back to the pits and they all...

    Track Your PitBikes TOP Speed!

Around Broadford I was using 18/34 with yx160 tb head pwk28 and daytona ignition, and Phillip Island 18/30 was used 155z tb head vm26 and lifan ork.

    Track Your PitBikes TOP Speed!

I use "CMS Lap timer" for all my track work its very accurate with lap times and runs at 1hz with speed so its accurate enough without going for a professional GPS laptimer like a Starlane. Have you got any mods done to the daytona? I'd ecpect something along the lines of 130km/h+ for a 1/4...

Step up to 250 production from minimotards

Its been a while since I've posted on here, but a few know that I have been trying to keep mini motard happening in Vic through the SWMMC, but more importantly, I've made the step up to racing 250 production class on a Hyosung GT250r. Funny though, these bikes are actually no faster around...

WANTED: Kitaco Inner Rotor Kit CRF50

If you actually spend the $600+ and get the genuine Kitaco inner rotor kit, it will produce far more hp than anything else out there, advances are stable and fully adjustable. Only downside is you will loose torque. But hey, if the engine never drops below 9000rpm who cares, its going to a hell...

    what carb is best

If you want raw aggressive power go with a flat slide of either a Genuine PWK28 or an OKO28, for top of the line run a Mikuni TM28, this will allow you to make the most power. If your trail riding I'd be sticking to a round slide and of a small diameter even down to 24mm, will give you a nice...
