    Dhz monster 140 review

That's a really cool frame. You'll need to make sure the frame will take a long fork, like those from the DHZ monster, and still retain proper overall geometry. It will be lots of wasted cash if the bike end up having a very tall front, but a low seat height: "Chopper" geometry.

    Dhz monster 140 review

I've got the 2007 model and have been riding and racing it for a year now. My pals loved how it handles and have since bought 3 more to replace the Motovert 125, but these are 2008 models. (In my humble opinion the '07 ones with black Kayo forks, gold plated sliders, are better bikes than the...

    DHZ150cc & JR50 over jump together

Need to give it more gas, Jonesy. :) I can easily manage a 12ft gap with a ramp about that size, on the DHZ140 Monster. Also, with more speed and forward momentum, the landing will not be so hard. Add some gas upon touch down too, will make for smoother landing.

    Help. Sore butt.

Great! Thanks guys, now I know it's not unique to me and I won't be the only person going around with torn butt skin. :D I've tried having cycling wear with built-in paddings (I mountain bike too), even doubled up with baby powder under that... and it did helped some bit. Ok, maybe I'll try...

    Help. Sore butt.

Checking with fellow pitbike riders who frequent MX tracks, or ride tracks at decent speeds... Does anyone get very sore backside after a day's ride? I'm getting quite bad abrasions almost every week, which I figured was due to the weight shifting during turns or berms. It's getting quite...

40 year old french man on a DHZ 140. Nope, that's not me.

    faults with the le,xr,mso140s,dhz140cc??

Most of these bikes are China-made, so I would say there will be some little issues here and there for every bike. Maybe even among the same brand and batch. Probably Quality Control is different from what we get from the Japanese. The one bike that impresses me so far is the Motovert. For the...

wheel bearing only lasting 1 day???

Can it be a case of a worn-out hub? My rear hub is wobbly not due to the bearing, but because the bearing was sitting loose in the hub.

    problem idling

I would believe the rpm hangs up due to the lack of gas goin into the engine, the same way it reacts when we're running out of gas. There is still gas after throttle is close, but just insufficient, resulting in the hang up. After idling for few seconds, the rpm settles down when gas start to...

    does off set matter

I believe what he meant by offset is the offset of the triple clamps, which is a common modification to full size dirtbikes. It affects wheelbase, steering, high speed stability, and most critically, the bike's handling. It gets complicated from here. Can someone with better understanding of...

dmx 140 or dhz monster pro 140

In my humble opinion, if you're going to show up at your neigbourhood bike shop frequently, it just make sense to buy the DMX from him. In the long run, it's not just the money involved. Otherwise, if you're serious about the quality of the bikes, I personally think you should compare the...

    dhz bikes????

I've rode a couple china bikes, a Motovert Expert 125, a Cineworx 140 and a DHZ monster 140 (Kayo forks, FastAce shock). Among all, the 2007 Monster is the tallest and longest bike. I can't judge the handling of the cradle frame DHZ, but this Monster frame handles the best among all the pits...

kx 80 or dhz monster pro 140cc

Exactly my thoughts too. A small dirtbike will never be a fun 'pitbike', I think they're different in terms of fun factor.

    mikuni 102.5 main jet

Well, since it's been bumped, may I ask... My bike gets hard to start after some laps, can a dirty air filter cause such drastic difference? Or has the bike been running rich from the very beginning? My riding place is usually dry n dust get kicked up easily.

    My Mistake

Considering the structures and design of the carby, it's very unlikely the needle will get sucked into the engine. Furthermore, you never even managed to get the engine started, right? ;)
