i suppose it could be worse, the rest of the bike is in ok condition, but the big end bearing (needle bearing) is locked solid and the connecting rod won't move, them the breaks, hopefully the bike shop can track down some bearings for me

lol, thats better well i managed to get the pin out and the crank is now free, oh joy!! now i have have to give the crank to the bike shop to press everything free, and give the buggers money, thats the worse bit heres the seized crank thats what get for leaving a bike for 32 years...

an exhaust is an exhaust is an exhaust, its not a huge deal on 4 strokes, all that will do is make it louder, you may have to adjust the jetting slightly, but chances are it will be fine, if you like the look of it and want your bike a bit louder, then go for gold
