Chapstick dries your lips, so yo put more on, then you buy more.

Yeah I'm a bit worried about that. Ever since I adjusted my valve clearances I now have a lot more compression and it kicks back every time unless I start it properly i.e just past T.D.C.

BTW those stickers on the forks will be coming off cause I think they are UUUUUUUGGGLY.

Haha couldn't tell you. A friend of a friends cousin happened to be taking pics so I got him to email them to me. The one on the side of the helmet in the first pic is obvious though!!

Thanks for the reply CJ. I thought there would be a few modifications to make but sounds like you got it sorted out. I've tracked down some reconditioned DNM forks that should fit straight into the original triple clamps so I'll just slip them in and bolt up a new wheel and front brake to suit...

That bike is awesome! I'd like to do an upgrade similar to this on my bike. How did you mount the GPX forks to the Thumpy frame? I have a Thumpstar with the same frame and looked into getting the GPX forks but they run a tapered roller bearing and the frame uses ball bearings. Can you explain...
