    Is this really a 138cc

I suppose my question is for roost, how much do you know about the motors you mentioned (54x59)? The reason I ask is, why I was going to import the engines that I posted the info about was because they where the largest displacement cheaper/Chinese engines ( the KLX 110’s with the potential to...

    Lowering Cubic capacity?

all three have the same volume but none outline the changes that i spoke about in the past. But these ones do, the first is the standard 140.2 with flat top piston and the second is with hi comp piston fitted ill concede that the swept volume maybe the same but the internal volume of the...

    Lowering Cubic capacity?

Ok ive been polite up untill now lol ....andy600rr i dont know what post you are reading but i never said any thing about a head. and here is the true definition of displacment Engine displacement is defined as the total volume of air/fuel mixture an engine can draw in during one complete...

    Lowering Cubic capacity?

yeh of course. but not the same as the original flat top and that makes the difference in the displacement. i may still be wrong but let me put this to you If you had two cylinders both being the same height and diameter but one having a domed base which would have the smaller internal volume...

    Roll starting a bike

yeh that the most important part just like kicking over any old thumper like tt 500 or xr500 you had to roll it just over top dead centre past compression or you would have hell of a job kicking them over.
  14. motodad43

    Lowering Cubic capacity?

HHHMMMMM Just a thought if you had a 140.2 standard say with a flat top piston and you wanted to raise the compression (as in your case to 13:1) you would be fitting a dome top or kicker piston which technically would decrease your cc's that is as long as your high compression piston is the...

    Roll starting a bike

The best way is two roll the bike backwards in say second or third probably third is best with the cluch out, (this will reverse the motor back up to compression stroke) the wheel should then stop, pull the cluch in and run forward and jump on side sadle as you dump the cluch to get the motor...

    Is this really a 138cc

Ok to answer a few questions. im not sure on the price, as i said in the other post im waiting for their reply. I have asked for a price on 100 units to try and get the cost down. Im pretty sure they are not coming from lifan directly and it looks like they are the same engine as the one in the...

    can u jump a agb-30 atomik 200cc

Hey dabomb i have to correct you. Horizontally opposed is a term used for engines such as VW BEETLE or like a BMW bike engine where there is more than one cylinder, usually 2 or 4, 2 opposite (opposing) each other horizontally. Im not trying to be a smart arse just thought you might want to...

    DHZ bid-less

he lost the focus of the buying pubic, there is so many bikes out there now that people just start to look at other options, sometimes maybe they even move up to a higher quality bike even if it means paying a bit more for it.
