12/14 vs 14/17

What are you guys riding on! Which do u prefer and why??

I'm still new to the whole bike scene.. So what are the pros n cons on both??

The bike I currently have is 12/14 and so is the revmx I'm looking at purchasing very soon

Hey Sean,

I think most people will tell you 14" front and 12" rear as that is the most common set up on pit bikes. And a lot of people will say that 17" front and 14" rear is just wrong and gay...

For bush riding i would rather 17/14 set up as it is a lot easier on really difficult terrain, But i would prefer 14/12 on tracks, normal bush riding and just ****ing around...

Yeh I noticed when I went riding the other day that it was pretty difficult to go through sand!!

Yeah sand is pretty hard if its soft and deep but its good fun

Well i guess so but with even more power youll be drifting more...With my old 125 i was 1st 2nd 3rd gear flat revving out drifting any slower and i was getting bogged or about walking pace drifting...So im not realy sure on that one a lot of sand riding is technique...

and btw i was going up sand dunes lol

12/14 man for sure but deffently agree was sam

i prefer 14/12 its a mini bike! 17/14 is a small bike with big wheels im not the biggest fan!
