125cc Lifan on a Honda CT70

Hello,

Looking for help getting a 125cc Lifan set up on my 1970 Honda CT70 and keep the 6volt lights and horn! Pictures or video is always best guide and help (the old saying come into play, a Picture is worth a thousand words, Video ...pricless!!! :b_grind

But words and good diagrams help as well!

Has anyone here done this before and can offer solid instructions along with what parts I need to buy other than the Engine?

A resistor is an easy fix for that mate, although they do produce heat. Personally I've only ever used resistors on 12/6v Led applications so I'm not sure if the same principle applies to
Incandescent bulbs but there is math to use to determine the correct resistance needed.

There's a good chance our resident "old school bike" OG Motodevo will have an easy answer for this.

Haven't done it but plenty of guys in the US use the dr atv rectifier/regulator that steps it down to 6v
6_VOLT REGULATOR RECTIFIER CONVERTS_12V CLONE_ENGINES TO_6_VOLT!! KEEP_ORIGINAL LIGHTS_BATTERY (6V_reg_rec)
That being said, the horn will run on 12v fine and theres only like 7 bulbs you'd need to swap

Hi Guys, yes thanks for the ideas, I know all about them but I need to know how to install them.

Anyone have pics or can explain step by step?
