190 v 160 cdi

So i got the 190 from buzz bikes, went to put it in callums bike today as i finally had a day off work, only to realise they have included a non adjustable cdi identical to a 160ho cdi (same part # and all). Is the engine going to run or do i have to run the proper cdi? I still have to sort out the exhaust so i cant just kick it over and see if it fires up.
Im under the impression it wont, but thought i might ask those who know more than me.

I don't think it does. The 190's are pretty particular like that. The 190 CDI is like twice the size of a 160 as well so must be a few differences.

It won't do any damage starting it if you could actually get it going but I doubt it.

The 160HO CDI wouldn't even fit would it?

Found out whats going on, it has a different stator on it all together, they hve switched it out for the mechanical advance lifan150 style stator.
