Hillz you should try and find the next model on, the TZ750 flat tracker... similar deal, triple-pot smoker... had a reputation for BENDING engine mount bolts and axles.. would be an awesome sand dragger... not recommended for any track with corners, something about running on like a bastard...

Thats not impressive. 600cc 4 strokes have 100hp. A 700cc 2 stroke should have 150hp at least.
600cc 4 Stroke don't make 100hp. A 450 worked makes like 58.
These Maicos are awesome. TM also make a 700 now I think.
Get into the jetski motors, my direct injected 1000cc 2 stroke ski motor put's out 140 and that's tame for jetski's.
Well s1000rr has 193hp. GSXR/YZF/CBR/ZX 600s all have over 100hp. As for dirtbikes the CRF450 has around 55hp which is 120hp per litre and that thing only has 114hp per litre. It's not a powerful 2 stroke... The YZ 250 has 46hp thats pretty decent.

The road bikes have multiple cylinders so not really a comparison there. For 1 cylinder, they are bloody powerful.
Yeah I guess. Like I said the YZ250 is pretty powerful at 46hp (184hp/L).
What do you mean by HP to the litre and how does that differ from overall HP? Just curious.

A powerful 2 smoke would be the new custom engines being bought in from Italy for the 49cc elite pocket bike class, initial tuning fugures are just under 20hp on the cranck.

means that because the yz250 is 250cc and has 46hp. if you multiple 250cc by 4 to make it 1000cc(1 ltr) then the Hp 4x would be 184hp.
so the hp to 1 ltr of the new SPS 20hp pocket bike motors would be 400HP per 1000cc.
Yeah, I just use it to bring them to a level playing field. I think there isn't much point in comparing a 700cc to a anything and saying "It's more powerful", that's obvious, but if all engines were theoretically the same size we could compare them more fairly.
